Since childhood, I have been a huge nail paint fanatic but I could never apply it neatly. My aunt who lived abroad bought me a set of press on nails (stick on nails) and that is when my life got easy. Growing up, I did not come across any Bangladeshi brand selling quality press on nails until recently; I found out that Glamscape (an online cosmetic shop in Bangladesh) sells press on nails that are not only gorgeous but also safe for your nails. Their pack consists of 24 nails, glue, sticker tabs, cuticle stick, a nail buffer and a manual instruction.
Here are some of the application and removal process for press on nails you need to follow in order to keep your natural nails healthy
How to Apply
The first step includes the selection of the press on nails according to your nail size because we don’t want to look odd wearing the wrong size of nails, right? Moving on to the second step, you need to gently buff your natural nails, carefully push back your cuticle area and clean it with an alcohol pad. Make sure that you do not touch your nail beds with bare hands to avoid the risk of transferring oil which will reduce the adhesion bond.
In the third step, you will need to apply the nail sticker tabs on your natural nails. After you have applied the tab on the press on nails, peel the other side of the nail sticker tab that you applied earlier on your natural nails. Quickly place the press on nails on your natural nail bed for 30 Seconds.
If you prefer using Nail Glue, you need to hold the nail in position for 30 seconds. This allows the adhesive to spread across the full surface which ensures a stronger bond. Just like that, you are ready to slay the red carpet. Here is a bonus tip, make sure you do not wash your hand or come in contact with water for at least 2 hours after you have applied the nails. This helps your press on nails to stay on for a longer period of time.
One thing you should never do is to try to physically pull the press on nails off.

Removing the press on nails after you have slayed your look simply involves soaking your nails in warm soapy water for 10 minutes. Using the cuticle stick, gently remove the nails from your nail bed. Make sure you start detaching from around the cuticle area with the help of a cuticle stick and work your way outwards. One thing you should never do is to try to physically pull the press on nails off.
